Vintage La-La Land Crafts Inspiration

Hi crafty friends! It's Friday!!! Are you ready for some crafting? I sure am.

Let's start the weekend of with some La-La Land Crafts inspiration. The design team is working with the theme vintage. Who doesn't LOVE vintage?!? It's one of my favorite styles of crafting.

I used the new and super cute Jaunty Luka Rubber Stamp. I had actually colored him a few months back. I love him so much I colored him 4 times in different colors. Lol.

I used one Jaunty Luka for my vintage box card that went to CHA, one for the Valentines Day box card class that I taught, one for this card and the 4th is still waiting to be put on a project.

I have to say that Jaunty Luka is looking pretty spiffy in the purple and grey.

Don't you agree?!? I know that purple really isn't vintage, but I am thinking out of the box here.

I did however, hook Jaunty Luka up with a Vintage Bike. The Vintage Bike Die is one of the dies that was released in the big CHA release.

La-La Land Crafts has a lot of super cute vintage dies.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I am off to do some crafting. See you all again real soon!
Hugs,
       Tina

Happy Birthday Wishes from Rubbernecker Stamps

Need a birthday card? I have a quick one that could be for a boy or a girl.

I created this card using the Birthday Wishes Circle from Rubbernecker Stamps

I cut the stamp out with a circle die that I got from Rubbernecker Stamps. I am so excited that Rubbernecker Stamps is getting in more shaped dies! I have a bunch on my wish list.

Want to know a little secret? I have heard from a little birdie that they have more dies coming =) I have really gotten into dies. I love the crisp edges. My favorite are the stitched dies.

I used foam squares to give a little depth to the card between layers.

You will be able to read more about my card here on the Rubbernecker Stamps blog.

Animal Friends With The Cutting Cafe

Ok, ya'll know that I LOVE The Cutting Cafe. They have THE CUTEST cutting files, but did you know they also have digital stamps?  Well they do!

Check out this new set!

It comes with all these adorable animals AND sentiments. The Set is called Animal Friends Printable Set

I can see many different cards being made with this one set. I love it when a stamp or stamp set can be used in different ways.

I colored this sweet little cow with Copic markers. I forgot to color his eyes!

To create the background, I made a stencil with my cricut and used Tim Holtz distress inks to make the clouds and grass. It was the first time I had done this and I have to say that I love how it turned out!

Be sure to check out The Cutting Cafe Blog on the 21st. I know the Design Team has made some great projects with the Animal Friends Printable Set. If you leave a comment on the 21st blog post, you will be entered in a chance to win 3 free files from The Cutting Cafe

It's All About Love At La-La Land Crafts

It's inspiration Friday at La-La Land Crafts. We are celebrating LOVE today.

I made my card using Sitting Marci Rubber Stamp. She is so cute with her button nose. She kinda reminds me of my daughter Echo.

I colored Sitting Marci Rubber Stamp with Copic markers. After cutting the Lacy Heart for my card, I took one of the tiny hearts out and put it on Marci's face.

I made the pink flowers with the Rolled Rose Medium and Small Die Set. I love these flowers! They are super cute and so stinking easy to make.

I used the Open Leaf Flourish Die to accent the Rolled Roses. The Open Leaf Flourish Die was my very first La-La Land Crafts die. My very first La-La Land Crafts item ever, actually.

I used the Double Stitched Squares Die Set and the La-La Land Crafts Chipboard to create the shaker portion of the card. I simply cut 3 of the largest Double Stitched Squares  out in Chipboard, cut one out in decorative paper (kept the center of the cut), and cut one out in white cardstock.

I glued together the 3 Chipboard cuts, adhered them on top of the decorative xoxo paper, dumped some micro beads in the center, covered the chipboard with clear cardstock and topped it off with the white cardstock frame. It may seem like a lot of steps, but it's actually very simple.

Isn't this Lacy Heart Die gorgeous! I love it. Each one of those tiny little hearts come out perfectly. I save them to use on different projects. They'd be perfect for a shaker.

Thank you all for stopping by for a visit. See you all again soon =)

Reneabouquets Beeutiful You Card

Hello crafty friends! I have a mixed media card to share with you today. It's made with Reneabouquets items, starting with the Blue Fern Wanderlust Paper Collection.
Blue Fern has the pretties papers!

After cutting and sizing the Blue Fern Wanderlust Papers, I distressed the edges and then inked them with Tim Holtz distress ink.

I have been wanting to work with these Queen Bee with Glass Wings since Renea put them in the store. I am so excited to finally have the chance.

These Queen Bee with Glass Wings have so much detail. I love the added touch of glitter.

Reneabouquets has the perfect embellishments to go with the Queen Bees. The Beautiful Board Medium Honey Bee Chipboard is gorgeous. I colored it with distress inks and distress markers. I also added Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits Mini Bee Hive to the card.

The sentiment is a stamp that I have in my stash. It fit the theme of my card perfectly.

I used the Honey Curly Roses Mulberry Paper Flower Set from Reneabouquets for the flower arrangements.

I made the honey from a mixture of Glossy Accents, and yellow and brown acrylic paint. I used a toothpick to put drops all over the card.

Thank you for popping in for a visit. Hope you have a craftastic day!

The Sweetheart Lavender Glitter Glass Butterflies looks so pretty in the center of the

I used the Beautiful Board Bling Love Locks Keys as an added little touch of romance. I used a little distress ink to age the key and lock.

La-La Land Crafts Flapper Molli Easel Card

Hello and happy Friday crafty friends! I have been playing with the La-La Land Crafts new releases again. I just can't get enough of this release!

I used the adorable Flapper Molli for my project this week.

I colored Flapper Molli with Copic markers.

Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000, E0000
Cheeks: R20
Lips: R46
Hair: E25, E33, E51
Dress: 110, C7, C5, C3

The flower on Flapper Molli's headband was made with the La-La Land Crafts Rolled Rose Small & Medium Die. I love this die! The flowers are so easy to make.

My thoughts with this card was to create a stage for Flapper Molli. I wanted to keep with black and white with little pops of red. I found some pretty paper that could be used as a backdrop and some black plank paper that was perfect for the stage floor. I used flatback pearls to imitate lights around the stage floor.

I hung a banner across the back of the backdrop. I decorated the banner with the little heart that is in the center of the Large Teapot Die.

The Shabby Flourishes Die was the perfect flourish to accompany the red roses.

I love the way that the easel card folds down to make it easier for mailing.

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit. See you all again soon!

Stealing Hearts Card With Angels Hearts and Memories

Are you ready for Valentine's Day?! No? Don't worry...You still have a few more days to find the perfect gift. Like a handmade card. Nothing says love like a homemade gift.
I've been getting a little help in preparing from Angels Hearts and Memories Etsy Shop. Angela released the cutest images for Valentine's Day.

This one is a Heart Burglar. She is cute enough to steal anyone's heart!
Little Miss Heart Burglar is colored with Copic markers and has high lights that were added with a white gel pen. I decided to go with non traditional burglar colors (black) and do something fun. Purple is fun, right? V09, V06, V04, and V1 is my favorite Copic combonation. Which is what I used on Little Miss Heart Burglar

I used E04, E11, E00, E000, E0000 and R20 for her skin. This is my go to skin combo. I start with E11 and color just where I want my dark shadows. Then I take E04 and go over the E11. Not extending passed the E11 lines. After that I use E11 once more, go over E04 and extend the shadow out just a bit. From there I extend the shadow out further with E00. Followed by E000 and then E0000. R20 is used for the blush. Once I am finished coloring the skin, I go back with E11 and E00 and put another layer down. This adds more depth to the image.

The hearts and the Heart Burglar's lips are colored with R83 and RV00.
Her hair combo is E49, E29, YR24.

Smooch Word Shaped Card with The Cutting Cafe

Hi everyone! There's only a week left to get your Valentine's projects/shopping done.
The Cutting Cafe can help you with making that special card.

Regina, the owner has LOTS of Valentine card files.

Here's one I made for inspiration.

I used the Smooch Word Shaped Card. The Smooch Word Shaped Card comes with the lips and also comes with sentiments.

I cut the word and layers out with my Cricut Maker. You don't have to have a fancy cutting machine though. The Cutting Cafe also has the files in PDF form.

I cut the lips out and embossed them with a sticky embossing powder. After embossing, I added red glitter to the lips.

The heart was a Cricut file.

I had the card finished in about 20 minutes. You can't be that!

I am going to run for now. Be sure to check out The Cutting Cafe Blog on the 7th. You are sure to be inspired by what the rest of the Design Team makes. If you leave a comment on the 7th blog post, you will be entered in a chance to win 3 free files from The Cutting Cafe
