New Color It Create It Show It Off Challenge For July

Hello again! Welcome back to my blog.
The card I have made today is for the new Color It Create It Show It Off Challenge.

I didn't create this master piece on my own...I had a 4 year old helper, my daughter Echo.

Don't mind the crazy make-up job. Echo had spent the night at her Nana's house. When I picked her up, she was all dolled up =)

Echo was super excited when I asked her to help me with my design team assignment. We used Img593 from The My Bestie Shop.

Echo painted around the image, after I colored it with Copic markers.

Once she was done, I splattered red and blue ink spray all over.
We finished off our master piece with a paint brush and some twine.

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you will stop by and check out the new

Guest Designer For Faery Ink Gabby Poppy

Hello! Today I have the pleasure to be posting as a guest designer for Faery Ink. I am so excited to be working with these GORGEOUS images.
I chose to work with the beautiful Gabby Poppy. You can find her here http://faeryink.com/shop/, in the Faery Ink shop.

Gabby Poppy
Did you know that there are different colored Poppies? I have always thought that they were only red.
I decided to look at some images of Poppies before I started coloring the image and found a bunch of different colors.
I colored Gabby Poppy with Copic markers and added some highlights with a white gel pen.

The butterfly boarder was a perfect match for her beautiful butterfly wings.
I decided to keep the card fairly simple to keep the focus on Gabby Poppy.

She is one of my favorite Faery Ink images yet!

Faery Ink Fairy Make A Wish Card

Hi everyone!
I am so excited to be guest designing for Faery Ink today! I love Amanda's images.

This adorable image is Fable & Tweets and she is yours TOADALLY FREE for today only.
All you have to do is head over to the Faery Ink website and download her.

I colored the image with Copic Markers. Once again one of my markers decided to leak a huge blob, while I was coloring. I have become pretty good about noticing when the markers are going to bleed...this time I just wasn't paying enough attention, I didn't think I was going to be able to fix this one, but I did a pretty good job hiding it =) Since I colored this image I have heard that coloring with both caps off will help with the bleeding issue.

The white speckles you see all over is done with dry embossing powder.
I sprinkled the powder on the paper and then used my heat tool on the under side of the paper.
That keeps the embossing powder from blowing all over the place.

Happy Birthday Mr. Fix It

Hello! This year Memorial Day was an extra special day at our house. It was my husbands birthday. He got home from work at about 5:00 am that day. The kids and I were waiting for him to pull up in the drive way. We attacked him with water balloons and fake snow (made out of cornstarch and shaving cream). We had a blast.

My husband is a true jack of all trades. He can fix EVERYTHING. I am so thankful that he has this ability!

When I started thinking about his birthday card, I wanted to include tools.
I mean, what's more manly than tools!?

I remembered that The Cutting Cafe had the cutest tool set.

The Tool Time Set also comes with sentiments. I used some on the front and the inside.

The adorable image is Bestie Plumber  from The My Bestie Shop
I colored him with Copic Markers.

Thank you all for stopping by for a visit.
Stop by The Cutting Cafe on the 7th and leave a comment on the DT inspirational post. You'll be entered in a chance to win 3 free files of your choice if you do.
Don't have a fancy cutting machine for the files? Don't worry!  The Cutting Cafe files also come in PDF format so you can print them and cut them by hand!

See you all again soon!
Hugs,
Tina

A Girl and Her Shoes

I'm back with another creation using the fabulous Every Day Elisha Jean and Friends

I had a napkin just sitting around waiting to be used. It was perfect for this card.
I unfolded the napkin, ironed it, and sewed it onto a piece of pink cardstock.

Then I placed this little cutie in the center of them and
added this sentiment from the High Heel Shoe Shaped Card Template at the The Cutting Cafe.

Here's a look at the entire Every Day Elisha Jean and Friends stamp set.
It's perfect for any occasion!
Thank you for stopping by to visit! Have a craftastic day!
